Do's and Don'ts After Treatment

- Do use the muscle that has been treated more often for the first hour as the toxin is attracted to active muscle
- Do not apply make-up for the next 12 hours and keep skin clean with normal cleansing.
- Do not use cleansing wipes which may irritate skin
- Avoid extremes of heat or cold, vigorous exercise, alcohol, rubbing or wearing tight hats or headgear for 48 hours
- Avoid facial massages and electrical stimulation of face for next two weeks.
Managing Undesirable Results
Sometimes the result may not always be what you desired or set out to achieve.
Poor or undesirable cosmetic results such as inadequate effect, asymmetrical features, heavy brows and eyelids, dry eyes and double vision can sometimes be corrected by topping up the dose and/or using certain eye drops. However, in some cases, correction is not always possible and the best advice in such cases is to wait until the effect of the treatment wears off.
If this is your first treatment, it is always advisable to consider staring with smaller doses with a top-up option, where necessary, during the 2-week follow-up. This also allows your practitioner to get to know your face better and tailor treatment according to previous results.
