Hello!! My name is Mehnaaz and I am a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber and an aesthetic pharmacist with over 15 years of clinical experience.
I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Pharmacy in 2003 and have worked as clinical pharmacist in various hospitals and settings ever since.
Over the years I have obtained a number of postgraduate qualification including a postgrduate Masters degree in Clinical Pharmacy and an Independant Prescribing qualification. This allows me to work independantly as a clinician in my area of competancy.
I have worked in different specialities such as general medicine, surgery, paediatrics,womens health, citical care and care of the elderly sepcialising in various areas including anticoagulation. I have also worked community pharmacies where I trained to provide some enhanced and advanced services.
Apart from my venture into medical asethetics, I continue to work at a local hospital as a specialist and prescribing pharmacist , which I enjoy very much as well.
My passion for medical aesthetics developed as I became more aware of the benefits of the different non-surgical cosmetic treatments available and how I could use my expertise to be able to offer a service that addressed these needs. I am extremly passionate about skincare and this is one area I feel everyone must learn and know about if they want to age gracefully.
I have trained with well reputed aesthetic training providers such as SkinViva, Teoxane, Academy of Aesthetic Medicine and SkinMed and continue to train throughout the year with the aim of perfecting what I do and to ensure that my clients benefit from the best product and techniques and are kept safe at all times.
I would like to use my skills and professional expertise to help individuals address their skincare and ageing concerns, which may have an impact on their health and well-being.
I believe that this is especially becoming more important in the current era where we are living longer and want to maintain a healthy and youthful appearance and to age gracefully.
