What happens at a consultation?

A face-to-face consultation is the most important part of this treatment and also a legal requirement. Your consultation will take place with our Pharmacist Prescriber, who will go through all your expectations, address any concerns you may have and develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs.

The process takes 30-40 minutes and the aim of this process is to assess the suitability for the intended treatment for you and give you the most appropriate advice to help you make an informed decision. We will go through a medical questionnaire to rule out any possible contraindication or risks due to your current health, the risks and benefits of proposed treatment and any possible alternative treatments. Together we will discuss what you would like to achieve and set realistic expectations in a relaxed environment and create a bespoke treatment plan within your budget.

We always give our client enough time to think about the treatments they intend to have and you are therefore under no pressure to make your mind up straight away. After the cooling off period and after fully informed consent, if you decide to proceed with the treatment, we will then book you in for the treatment and provide you with all information required to before and after treatment to help you plan in advance.
